About Us
Kickoff For Kids is a non-profit organization based in Elmhurst, Illinois working to enrich the lives of children through family-centered programs focusing on community, education, and wellness. It was founded in 2001 by two Elmhurst dads who wanted to give back to their community. Since then, Kickoff For Kids has developed a loyal base of individual and corporate donors who collectively donated over $800,000 to fund our programs. From sponsoring a Kids Zone at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital to providing scholarships to high school seniors, we create opportunities that uplift and inspire. By partnering with local organizations and supporters, we’re building a stronger, more connected future, one child at a time.

Our Pillars
Education
We believe strongly in the power of education to help kids develop their gifts and become the best versions of themselves. Recognizing outstanding teachers, enhancing school facilities, and providing financial assistance are three Education programs that Kickoff For Kids has generously funded over the years.
Community
We are proud members of the Elmhurst community and look to make meaningful contributions to its betterment. By supporting important local institutions like our hospital and library, we hope to not only benefit today’s children but also set an example for them as our next generation of community leaders.
Wellness
We pride ourselves on promoting a healthy and fit lifestyle for the kids in our community. Similar to our Education pillar, our Wellness programs support both the facilities and people that are dedicated to helping kids develop healthy lifestyles that will serve them throughout their lives.
